Services we provide
Our team of qualified and dedicated professionals are on hand to support woman in the following areas
Support for women
We offer practical, emotional and therapeutic support to vulnerable women who may be experiencing or at risk of poverty, abuse and exploitation. We work with women on a one to one basis, providing support in person or over the phone. We can support women with benefits, council tax, housing, legal matters, child custody and welfare check ins.
Support for young people
We work with young girls from the age of 13 and with boys under 18 who are at risk of or experiencing exploitation. We work with individuals or groups to promote safety, reduce risk and promote independence and empowerment.
Counselling
We offer long term weekly counselling for women and girls from the age of 13 and boys under 18 who require holistic support as a result of sexual abuse and exploitation. These sessions are free and take place at the project or over the telephone. Individuals can self-refer.
Drop in
Drop in is a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment for women to access showers and toiletries, clean clothes and washing facilities, hot meals and food parcels, condoms and injecting equipment and someone to talk to.
Outreach
We provide an outreach service to women in street based sex work and those rough sleeping. We give out newsletters including safety information, take reports and offer food, drink and condoms and are a safe presence on the beat.
Community partners
We deliver open access services to support the women in our community. We have weekly drop in sessions with mental health specialists and recovery workers from Turning Point.
